The art of weaving is much more than preparing the material and creating beautiful designs; it is a connection tool that molds thoughts into matter, through indigenous bags with significance. It is manifested consciousness, through meditation, in every needle and thread movement.
In this encounter, you will understand how each of us is an individual thread, interweaving to form part of a larger fabric: the family, community, territorial, and planetary network. Weaving then becomes a philosophy of life, a methodology that reminds us that we inhabit a shared space and that we can choose to actively participate and contribute to the gestation of a new humanity.
We are golden threads of a great universal web, woven in the Mother’s mind-uterus, manifesting the unity of all that exists. It is our possibility and joy to repair this torn fabric, assuming our individuality and collectivity, accompanied by the ancestral wisdom of weaving expressed by Doña Rosita, a talented woman from the Kankuama ethnic group.
The workshop immerses you in the depth of this work, where you learn from indigenous cultural heritage while weaving your thoughts. Each stitch is a link to tradition, each thread a carrier of profound meanings.
At the end, each participant takes with them an ancestral protection bag, an object that safeguards not only the result of their work but also their thoughts, seeds, knowledge, and protective elements, a tangible treasure of this transformative experience
