On this journey through the Guainía jungle, with the permission of the indigenous people, you will have the opportunity to see the Cerros de Mavecure, sacred to the ancestral communities that guard and care for the territory. The hills are a rock formation, part of the Guyanese shield, which is more than 4,000 million years old, it is one of the oldest geological formations on the planet!
In addition to enjoying these natural wonders, you will be able to share with the communities, dreamlike landscapes with beautiful rivers, white beaches and hundred-year-old trees. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Honey Route, a form of beekeeping that promotes conservation and is of great importance for the sustainability of the Community of La Ceiba. You can also take a walk above the trees at 19 meters high!
- DAY 01 Arrival at Puerto Inírida, we will begin our journey towards Mavecure, Pájaro and Mono hills belonging to the Remanso and Venado Indigenous Reserves. We will be welcomed by the Remanso community. We will have lunch. After we will climb Cerro Diablo or tour through the gallery forests (these are forest formations found along watercourses, whose function is to protect rivers) around the base of Cerro Pájaro. Dinner. Accommodation at an indigenous cabin in the Remanso community.
- DAY 02: After breakfast, we will embark towards the Mavecure, Pájaro and Mono hills (tepuis). Climb up the Tepuy to recognize the landscapes of the Guiana Shield. Lunch, visit Caño San Joaquín, bathing time in the river. Displacement to the community of La Ceiba. Tour in curiara (indigenous canoe) to watch dolphins in the area of calm waters of the Inírida river or Pajarito creek. Dinner. Lodging in an indigenous cabin at La Ceiba community.
- DAY 03: Breakfast. Participate in sustainable productive initiatives held at the Community of La Ceiba, they will show us the “Ruta de la Miel” (the honey route), a form of beekeeping that promotes conservation and is of great importance for the sustainability of the community. Then, we will go to the Great Orinoco River and we will see the fluvial star of Inírida, a place where the Inírida, Guaviare, Atabapo and Orinoco rivers converge. We will keep going on the Orinoco river to finally arrive at the MORU Nature Reserve, where we will have lunch. We are going to bathe in the Atabapo river in the “Piedra de Maviso”, an area which is on the border with Venezuela. Accommodation in the MORU Nature Reserve.
- DAY 04: Breakfast. We will have the opportunity as a group to choose one of these two options:
- Option 1. We will enter the forests of the Matavén jungle to ascend to the canopy in Rappel activity (high ropes) until we reach the first platform in the treetops (canopy) where we will begin our journey crossing bridges 15 meters high, along 160 meters route through the forest of the northeast Amazon.
- Option 2. Hike in the MORU Natural Reserve, to recognize the Mataven jungle forests in the department of Vichada.
- Transfer to the city of Puerto Inírida and to the airport; check-in. Return to the city of Bogotá. End of services.
- Ground transportation: Airport-Inirida-Airport.
- River transportation. Movements along the Inírida river (La Ceiba, Remanso), Atabapo and Orinoco rivers. Mavicure Hills; creeks and lagoons.
- Meals: Breakfast (3), lunch (3) and dinner (3). permanent hydration
- Accommodation: Indigenous cabin in the Indigenous Reservations (2) nights. MORU Nature Reserve (1) night
- Permits: Nature Reserves and Indigenous Reservations.
- Activity in the forest canopy. Hike through the forest canopy through hanging bridges.
- Guidance by. Indigenous educators from various reservations.
- Airline tickets. (We can organize it for you upon request). The cost of the round trip ticket usually varies between COP$600,000 and COP$900,000.

- To reserve a place a deposit of 50% of the value of the trip is payable at the time of booking. The balance of the trip must be paid no later than 8 days before the trip.
- CANCELLATIONS
- A trip cancellation must be made 8 days prior to the departure date, 90% of the reservation deposit will then be returned.
- When booking for one of the open group tours, any cancellation affecting the minimum number of 6 travelers, the following conditions apply:.
- If one traveler or more cancels their travel experience from between 6 to 8 to 6 days prior to the departure of the trip, 70% of the value of the tour will be refunded.
- If one traveler or more cancels their experience 2 to 5 days before the trip, 50% of the value of the tour will be refunded.
- If a traveler cancels their experience 24 hours before the trip, no reimbursement will be made.
- In case of a client not showing up to the tour, no reimbursement will be made.
- If for unforeseen circumstances (climate changes, natural disasters, landslides, mishaps in air, land or river transport) the trip must be cancelled before leaving Bogotá, 90% of the reservation deposit will be returned.
