Pick-up at your hotel in Bogotá to start a journey of knowledge and spiritual connection to Fómeque, an ancestral territory full of mystery and wisdom. At FOWE, a Spiritual Indigenous school, where we will introduce you to the place and settle into the caduque (special spiritual office in the territory) to begin deep spiritual work.

The history of chicha comes to life as we delve into its trajectory, from the seed itself to becoming the sacred beverage that has endured through the centuries. Tales, songs, and dances weave a narrative that embraces all its ancestry, immersing you in a journey that covers the fundamental pillars of spirituality, music, cultivation, and social organization.

In the orchard, we plant corn seeds, connecting with the profound meaning of planting, the orchard, and the seed itself, while recalling our bond with the Earth. The harvest in the cornfield leads you to a magical moment, shelling and grating the corn with a specialized stone, accompanied at every step by ancestral knowledge.

The journey continues at the Chunzua, where amid stories and songs around the fire, we cook the corn. We share knowledge, experiences, and a traditional indigenous lunch that culminates in the brewing of chicha in this sacred space. Once ready, we will taste this precious beverage that represents the very essence of tradition.

The experience ends around 3-4 pm, at which time we will transport you back to your hotel in Bogotá.
