We will start our day by picking you up directly from your hotel in Bogotá, to embark on a journey full of knowledge and spiritual connection to Cota (1 hour and a half from the city), an ancestral territory imbued with mystery and wisdom. Our destination will take us to an authentic Muisca ancestral Sacred House, known as Chunzua. In this sacred place, the welcome will be conducted by the respected Elder Atabanza, who will accompany and guide us during the planned activities.
Discover the Art of Weaving: More than a visual art, weaving is a tool that imprints consciousness into matter. Recognize and reconcile with your essence, exploring the relationship between women and menstruation in the Muisca worldview. Understand your personal cycles as you immerse yourself in the life philosophy offered by weaving. Also, the Sun Chumbre represents the masculinity, weaving what it means to be a man in the Muisca cosmology.
Threads of Connection and Transformation: Experience weaving as a metaphor for life, where each of us is a unique thread, interweaving into a global network. Learn through ancestral art how to actively contribute to the gestation of a new humanity. Join this unique experience to transform yourself and connect with the earth and your own essence.
At noon, we will delight in an exquisite traditional Muisca lunch, immersing ourselves even more in the cultural experience. Subsequently, we will continue our journey with the fascinating practice of Chumbe weaving. Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, our activities will conclude, and we will head back to Bogotá, carrying with you the memories of a day filled with learning and connection with the rich spiritual heritage of the Muiscas.
